It’s hard to imagine that Austin is lacking any form of sport or entertainment. But, until this year, local rugby enthusiasts had to go beyond the city limits to get their thrills. Now they have something to cheer about—a professional Austin rugby team AND the 2017 opening of a brand new rugby sports complex.

About our speaker:

Thierry Daupin is the owner of the city’s very own rugby team—the Austin Huns. Educated in sport management and global communication, his interests include action sports, athlete and event marketing, and radical innovation. Mr. Daupin has in-depth knowledge of the U.S. and international sport markets and is connected with an international network of sport professionals.
