In our fast-paced, video-driven world, one of the best ways to be known as an expert or grow your business is through media coverage. How do you get the media's attention and become a go-to resource? And, once chosen, how do you make your first on-camera impression so good they can't wait to have you back?. Kim will help crack the code.

About our speaker:

Kim Barnes has been “on the air” for more than 25 years. She was an award-winning reporter and news anchor for 15 years—more than a decade of that at KVUE in Austin. Kim also taught television news reporting at the University of Texas, her alma mater. Since leaving the newsroom, she appears in television commercials and corporate videos, and does voiceover work.

Kim uses all of her skills as the owner of Barnes Team Media, helping businesses grow by being seen, heard, and empowered to share their message through media and video. She is married to KVUE Sports Director Mike Barnes. They have a ¬¬19-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter.
