Have you stopped to consider how smart devices impact your daily life? There is a Smart Revolution going on and we are effected by an incredible array of smart abilities and devices such as our smart phones, smart homes, smart cars, even smart gas meters, just to name a few.  All these devices are intended to increase efficiency and make our lives easier. On January 4, come hear David Wallace, COO of AngelouEconomics, to find out how “smart” the world is becoming and how Austin and Texas rank in those smarts. David will also give us a preview of AngelouEconomics’ 2017 Austin Economic Forecast before its release on January 26. Be one of the first to hear what they foresee for the new year.

About Our Speaker

David Wallace serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Austin-based AngelouEconomics, overseeing the business strategy and success.

Mr. Wallace has a long career in public service. He served as a three-term mayor of the City of Sugar Lan, Texas from 2002-2008, during which Sugar Land received numerous honors. Prior to his tenure as mayor, he serve on Sugar Land’s City Council.

Mr. Wallace is a proponent of public-private partnerships (PPP), and has enacted a strategy of PPP both in the public and private space. This includes more than $3 billion of PPP projects for the city of Sugar Land during his tenure as mayor.
