About Our Speaker
Catherine Morse is not only responsible for legal affairs at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, but she also is a liaison between the company and the greater Austin community. She is Samsung Austin Semiconductor’s link with civic, business and governmental entities in Austin.
Ms. Morse has been active with the Austin Chamber of Commerce, even serving on its board for several years. She is a member of the Austin Area Research Organization and on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations, including United Way for Greater Austin, the Austin Community Foundation and the Greater Austin Crime Commission. Ms. Morse also serves of the St. Austin Catholic Church Parish Council.
Ms. Morse has been with Samsung Austin Semiconductor for more than 9 years, In addition to her role as General Counsel, she manages the state and local governmental affairs function for the company. She has partnered with the Samsung Electronics America federal team in Washington DC on certain federal initiatives.
