Who Says the Printed Word is Dead?
John Garrett, founder of Community Impact Newspaper, certainly won't. Since launching the first edition in Round Rock and Pflugerville in 2005, the company has grown to 22 editions and is the fastest growing news organization in the state of Texas.
Community Impact has ranked among Inc. 5000's fastest growing U.S. companies for seven straight years starting in 2010. The newspaper has also received numerous awards, including awards for outstanding journalism and advertising design by the National Newspaper Association. In 2017, Community Impact received the most recognitions in the Local Media Association Digital Innovation Awards, one of the most prestigious award programs in the industry.
