How Capital Metro plans to battle Austin's traffic woes
Austin ranks 11th in the entire nation in population and traffic congestion ranks among the top 5 by some measures. Traffic has become a four-letter word for some. Capital Metro is among those organizations that believe the region needs to think big to ensure continued economic growth and high quality of life.
Capital Metro's Project Connect is touted to deliver a regional transit plan for Central Texas to address explosive growth, rising cost of living, and the limited ability to simply build more roads. The plan will require a multi-generational investment. Join Capital Metro President & CEO Randy Clarke as he discusses the future of mobility in Central Texas.
