Providing & Protecting Central Texas Blood Supply 

The population of Central Texas is booming and blood donations struggle to keep pace. We Are Blood collects blood donations across 10 counties for over 40 hospitals and clinics to ensure patients have the blood transfusions they need to live.

About Our Speaker:

Nick Canedo has worked as a capacity builder for nonprofit organizations for over 10 years, currently as the Vice President of Community Engagement at We Are Blood.

As a nonprofit leader, Nick has served as a development director and major gifts manager for organizations like the international NGO Rainforest Alliance and Texas think-tank the Center for Public Policy Priorities. In his current role at We Are Blood, Nick is responsible for connecting with the Central Texas community and motivating them to donate blood and platelets in order to save lives.
