About our speaker:

Jennifer thrives on raising up non-profit organizations as they grow into their potential. Her combined experience as an environmental attorney, environmental scientist and non-profit director makes her a unique and effective advocate in the field. Over the last 15 years, Jennifer has worked with numerous non-profit and for-profit organizations to design programs and collaborations that advanced conservation while responding to the authentic needs of individual communities. She is passionate about empowering communities through creative collaborations and making environmental conservation “cool.”

Jennifer is the Executive Director at Austin Creative Reuse where she leads a team focused on a mission to foster conservations and reuse through creativity, education, and community building. She founded Nature Playdate in 2014 to create meaningful experiences in nature for young children and their families in the Austin area. She participates in many collaborations at the local, state and national levels, with a particular focus on conservation and environmental education advocacy. She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Chicago Law School.
