About the artists:

DOSSEY

DOSSEY is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Austin, Texas. Her energetic brand of alt pop was launched into the public consciousness with the feature of her 80s synth pop earworm, Heartbeats, by none other than NPR’s All Songs Considered, who touted her as one of 100 artists to see at SXSW in 2019. Soon after, her collaboration with Canadian EDM producer Disero, Better Run, debuted on Spotify’s official “All New Indie,” “Indie Radar,” and “New Music" playlists. Releasing July 3, DOSSEY’s power alt pop anthem, Someone to Love, is her first solo release in over 2 years, and is slated to be a banger of epic proportions, kicking off a landslide of new alt and pop singles, one after the next.

DOSSEY has honed her undeniable sound on-stage and in-studio, marrying her adoration for funky 70s Nile Rodgers guitar licks, soaring disco melodies, modern synth pop rhythms and unusual samples. This effort has created an infectiously fushia and sequin-soaked, hook-filled world for her followers, who are hungry for a deeper, edgier and romantic archetype of pop.

Matt the Electrician

Matt the Electrician is Matthew Sever, a quirky, sincere folk/pop singer songwriter based in Austin, TX. He has self-released 10 studio albums, and 2 live CDs since 1998. Matt moved to Austin, TX from the West Coast in 1996 to pursue music full time. He regularly tours all over the world, specifically The US, Canada, Western Europe and Japan. His songs have been featured on Network TV shows, in feature length movies, and in TV commercials. He regularly plays festivals, theaters, nightclubs, and house concerts, and will continue to do so until he cannot.

Mach-7 Muzik

Producer powerhouse siblings Marcus Machado and Vicky Casis are set to release their EP compilation album Black Summer, Vol 2 on July 17, 2020. Their production team, Mach 7-Muzik, is focused on adding a new sound and vibe to the hip hop world. Smooth grooves are the characteristic of this groundbreaking, pandemic-era EP. Thoughtful lyrics and effortless rhythms feel designed to carry the listener away to sweeter times. Marcus Machado, a former child prodigy playing guitar since the age of 2, was named in 2014 by Rolling Stone as the ”Next Young Gun.” As one of the world’s preeminent guitarists on the rise, Marcus played alongside Robert Glasper and Lalah Hathaway on the score for the documentary Mr. Soul.

Vicky Casis is a female music producer from Brooklyn, NY who is ready to spread her unique style of beats to this world. Her music can be described as original, relatable, and can touch the soul. She has produced for talented artists such as rapper JSWISS, French rapper Billie Brelok, sultry Tanzanian singer Koku Ganza, and many others. Casis has also assisted in creating music for Hip Hop documentary Contact High. On December 2, 2019 she released her first EP called Baby Gurl. Vicky Casis is on her way to becoming one of the best music producers of her generation and there is more great music coming in the future from her.
