Journalism Challenges in a Post-Pandemic World
As society resumes the daily rhythm of life after the disruptions of the pandemic, journalism in general, and local news in particular, still have to face a series of challenges to fulfill our mission to inform communities.
About our speaker:
Teresa Frontado is the Executive Editor at KUT in Austin, TX. An award-winning journalist with more than 20 years of professional experience, she specializes in helping newsrooms navigate the complexities of digital transitions and audience engagement.
Teresa has worked with news organizations in the U.S. and Latin America, including WLRN South Florida Public Media, Univision Network and The Miami Herald Media Company. She was a Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan (Class of 2016) as well as a participant in the Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative (Class of 2020) by ASU and CPB.
