(Another) MBC Happy Hour at the Wildflower Center!

It's Tuesday Twilights at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

We love wild flowers (and people with wild imaginations). Whether you're new to Austin or a native Austinite, you'll enjoy a great happy hour with energetic and fun people. Come enjoy a cool autumn evening with friends, future friends, and music by Austin's own Ray Prim in this beautiful venue. 

There's no MBC charge for the evening, just register at the Wildflower Center on or after October 19th. (MBC members and regular visitors can expect a reminder announcement around 5pm on the 19th and again on the 25th.)

We'll rally around 5pm to the left of the entrance gate (near the gift shop). If you're late, just look for us near the music!

Bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, or plan to buy some at the on-site food trucks.  This special evening features:

• Explore Fortlandia in the Texas Arboretum, where Austin’s own Ray Prim will perform two soulful sets. Check out Ray’s music!
• Make it a Taco Tuesday or a Tamale Tuesday, depending on your mood. Food trucks from both Pueblo Viejo and Tamale Addiction will be on site, serving up mouthwatering picnic fare.   
• If you’ve been admiring wildflowers for at least 21 years, you can purchase the delicious cocktail of the evening, Tito’s Harvest Moon. See the cocktail recipe here! 
• Parking is limited, even with some extra options on La Crosse Avenue and in the streets of the nearby neighborhood. We suggest carpooling or using a rideshare to help keep the chill vibes of the evening going.
• Please refrain from bringing in alcoholic beverages. There will be a bar on site for your convenience.
• Things start winding down around 7:30 p.m., so be sure to get here at the top of the hour for our later ticket holders.
