Shaking the System: How Business Leaders Can Get in Good Trouble

Across the business world, founders, CEOs, investors, and organizational leaders are feeling the call to, as John Lewis said, “get in good trouble”. From developing products and services that serve humanity to directly challenging systemic injustices, business leaders are shaking institutions and industries.

In this soul-stirring and thought-provoking keynote, life-long activist, mindset coach and systemic leadership expert, Virginia Lacayo, Ph.D. will guide you through the internal and external challenges faced by those called to lead differently, misconceptions about power and control, and how to lead with what she calls an “Indomable” mind. She will share how a mastered mind helps you become the kind of intentional leader the world needs right now: more empathetic, visionary, resilient and wise.

Using provocative real-world stories and research, Dr. Lacayo will leave participants with:

  • How ego can destroy even the best ideas
  • New expectations and a new definition of “doing the right thing”
  • Insights on how to challenge our own thinking to prevent self-sabotage
  • Awareness of how our biggest fears are used to control us
  • Encouragement to pursue deeper meaning and purpose as a leader
