The Zilker Botanical Garden came to fruition through advocacy and partnership 60 years ago. The Conservancy is a non-profit stewarding the growth and evolution of this public asset through collaboration to ensures the Garden continues to thrive for another 60 years.

About our speaker:

Holly Hawk is the Director and a driving force in Zilker Botanical Garden Conservancy’s growth and transformation. In 2023 alone, she broke ground on their first capital project, established an endowment, secured a botanical collection and expanded community programing. With her leadership, Austin can anticipate an exciting chapter of growth for our beloved Garden.  

Holly's passion for the Zilker Botanical Garden and her deep roots within the Austin community have been evident throughout her career. Having served in various leadership positions within non-profit organizations across Austin, she possesses a unique understanding of the local landscape and a profound commitment to the betterment of her hometown.
