Jacob (Jake) Childers, MD, a Family Medicine physician in Same-Day Care at ARC and Medical Director of ARC’s subscription telemedicine service, NormanMD, explores how AI is transforming health care, including AI tools, real-world applications, and the challenges this new technology presents. Dr. Childers will explain how AI can help medical providers deliver better and more efficient healthcare, and how it benefits you, the patient.

Dr. Jake Childers has been practicing with ARC for 16 years, currently at ARC Far West in daytime urgent care. He is board certified in Urgent Care Medicine, and a member of the Travis County Medical Society and the American Academy of Physicians. Dr. Childers is also Medical Director of NormanMD, which provides primary care virtual visits for minor illness and injuries through a subscription platform utilizing ARC physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians. In his free time, Dr. Childers enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and two sons, and is a sports enthusiast, both participating and watching!
